At the Feb. 12, 2026 meeting, Member Kippy Breeden moved that the Finance Committee recommend the County Board place on file the Treasurer’s monthly bank balance and monthly interest reports and the County Clerk’s monthly Department report. Member Dale Stiles seconded the motion and the committee approved it unanimously.
Clerk Link had reported earlier on County Clerk/Recorder activities including Hillcrest time clock issues, elections, tax levy entry, Public Officials Act items, overtime reporting prepared for audit, and that the code of ordinances is available online. The committee’s recommendation to file the reports preserves a record of departmental financial status for board review and audit purposes.
