Resident urges Coppell to make complaint and quality-of-life data queryable
Summary
Monica Panda, who lives behind the McDonald's site, asked the council to make noise and quality-of-life complaint data filterable so officers and staff can see repeat callers and improve responses; she said staff told her the data were not currently available in that form.

At the July 20 meeting, resident Monica Panda described repeated calls to police and code enforcement about noise and late deliveries near her home and urged the city to provide filterable complaint data so staff and officers could identify repeat incidents. “I was told that data is not available because we don't have we can do it by incident number,” Panda said, adding that a simple Tableau-style filter would allow staff to track repeat callers and recurring issues.
Panda asked the council to act to make such records more accessible internally so officers responding to calls have historical context and the city can better manage recurring quality-of-life problems. Council thanked her for the input and no formal action was taken during the meeting; staff or the city clerk will follow up on data-availability questions.
