"Mavin has successfully been used to track outbreaks and diseases," Kurpaska said, citing the platform for surveillance.
Kurpaska said she is also coordinating public‑health story hours with the library focused on sun safety and is prioritizing mental‑health issues in community outreach. She fielded questions from the Select Board during her update. The board took the agenda out of order by consensus to accommodate the presentation.
