The road commissioner reported on recent work and inspections, saying crews had placed roughly 140–150 yards of material and are planning grading and helper placements on several roads.
During a tour of a former landfill the commissioner said the site is overgrown, contains collapsed or open fencing and needs cleanup before mowing; he said locating a missing map showing monitoring-well locations would aid planning. "There was...we have 4 monitoring wells to watch out for," the road commissioner said, urging care to avoid damaging those installations while clearing vegetation and repairing fencing.
Board members discussed making room for equipment, removing obstructing fence sections to allow access, and the need to coordinate with the monitoring well owner (Randy) before heavy equipment work occurs. The board agreed to prioritize a targeted cleanup to make necessary machinery access possible ahead of broader road projects.
Provenance: road report and landfill discussion during the road commissioner segment.
