Council advances ordinance allocating $4,767,961 in income tax receipts to third reading

Council Member Mike Reese moved to advance the ordinance; Jon Yurchiak seconded and the motion carried with all members voting in favor.
The minutes record the allocation amount ($4,767,961.00) and note the item had been discussed previously in the Committee of the Whole on Jan. 20, 2026. No vote on final adoption occurred at this meeting; the ordinance was simply scheduled for third reading per council procedure.
