Wadsworth City Council amended and adopted Ordinance No. 26-026 on Feb. 3 to authorize the Director of Public Service to enter into an agreement with the Wadsworth Community Improvement Corporation (WCIC) to act as agent for sale or lease of city-owned land. The ordinance authorizes sale of approximately 0.131 acre, corrected in the amendment to parcel no. 040-20A-17-060, to Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church. Council Member Jeanne Hines moved the amendment (seconded by Jon Yurchiak) that corrected the parcel number in the title and Section 2 and added a provision that the City pay the WCIC a 4% fee for acting as agent. The amendment passed, and the amended ordinance was then moved, the three-reading requirement was suspended, and the ordinance was declared adopted by unanimous roll call.
