Kelsey Bergey reported that "the Bee Balm retail space at 65 Main St. is available to rent," highlighting a vacancy in the downtown retail corridor. Interim Director Chris Hahn said he contacted Gold Grooming owner Jennifer, who has decided to close the business as of June, and that no additional EDA resources are planned for that closure.
Hahn also said he met with Toni Mensink of Together by Design, who is rebranding (formerly Typsy Trailer) and was connected with the Small Business Development Center and a marketing specialist. Director Hahn reported he also stopped in at Harmony Veterinary Clinic to introduce himself and follow up on expansion plans; staff will follow up in coming weeks.
