The Middleton Select Board voted unanimously on July 7 to approve FY26 year-end transfers submitted by Finance Director Sarah Wood under M.G.L. c.44, §33B. Finance staff told the board the transfers were presented in a July 7, 2026 memorandum from Sarah Wood and reflected closing-year adjustments needed to close out FY26 accounts.
Board members acknowledged that costs associated with the new town building remain difficult to project. The board recorded that estimates will be updated over the coming year as additional usage data becomes available. The approval came on a motion by Brian Cresta, seconded by Rick Kassiotis; the roll-call vote was unanimous among members present (Kosta Prentakis, Rick Kassiotis, Brian Cresta).
