Service Director Joe Borczuch told council the service department completed the fifth round of leaf pickup across the city and began a sixth trip on Nov. 11, though snow briefly disrupted the schedule.
"The service department completed the 5th round of leaf pickup through the city and began the sixth trip this afternoon," Borczuch said, adding that one leaf truck is out for repairs and he expects it to be fixed by next week to return three trucks to service. He asked council members to refer resident inquiries to the information Cleveland Water will provide about coordinated work in neighborhoods affected by the upcoming storm sewer project.
Borczuch also noted coordination with Cleveland Water on lead service line replacement work tied to a separate storm sewer project; those technical and scheduling details were described in a related departmental update to council.
