The Library of Virginia Foundation reported total managed assets of approximately $11.66 million and year-to-date net revenue of $937,196 as of May 31, Executive Director Scott Dodson told the Board. Foundation President Pia Trigiani said six new Foundation board members will be appointed effective July 1 and invited Board members to the 1823 Council reception that evening and the Virginia Literary Awards on Sept. 19.
Foundation leadership framed the financial report as a sign of continued support for the Library's mission and highlighted the Foundation's role in program support and fundraising. Board members were encouraged to participate in upcoming Foundation events and to continue advocacy on behalf of the Library.
