Olmsted Falls dedicates council chambers to longtime councilmember Kitty Fenderbosch

Olmsted Falls Mayor James P. Graven and members of the Olmsted Falls City Council dedicated the council chambers in honor of Kathleen “Kitty” Fenderbosch during the Nov. 11 meeting, presenting a plaque to her family.
"This plaque means a lot to the city and the family because Kitty will never be forgotten and this room will be known as the Kitty Fenderbosch City Council Chambers," Graven said, recognizing Fenderbosch's 16-plus years of council service and calling her "a pillar of our community." Service Director Joe Borczuch brought the plaque forward so family members could see it during the meeting.
Family members attended the ceremony; Kitty's husband, Dave Fenderbosch, thanked city officials and guests. "God Bless you all and thank you very much," he said, speaking for the family. Council President Cornel Munteanu and other members lauded local volunteer Bill Eichenberg for organizing the morning's Veterans Day observance and tied Fenderbosch's community contributions to the city's broader civic life.
The dedication is ceremonial and was entered into the meeting record. No formal action beyond the presentation was recorded in the minutes.
