On consent the Council awarded the Sir Francis Drake Boulevard Paving Rehabilitation Project contract to Spektren Engineering, Inc. in the amount of $263,213 and authorized a ministerial contingency of up to $26,000 for unforeseen conditions. The Town also awarded the Town of Ross Drainage Improvements Project to Maggiora & Ghilotti, Inc. for $140,420 with an approximately 10% contingency of up to $14,000.
Council Member Mathew Salter requested the third‑quarter financial summary be reviewed in the audit and noted the Town has nearly a $1 million positive variance compared with last year’s $1.4 million surplus. After no public comment, the Council approved the consent agenda items and the financial summary; motions carried unanimously (5‑0).
