Ross recognizes retiring Chief Pata and swears in Chief Raul Aguilar

Mayor Julie McMillan read and presented a proclamation recognizing Police Chief Raffaello Pata for his service to the Town of Ross and announced a retirement party scheduled the following morning at the Marin Art and Garden Center. Chief Pata thanked his wife, department staff and Town leadership in remarks recorded in the minutes.
Town Clerk Zach Koblick de León administered the oath of office for newly appointed Police Chief Raul Aguilar. Chief Aguilar thanked mentors, including members of the San Rafael Police Department, his family in attendance, as well as the Town Manager and Town Council for their support. The Council formally recognized the transition in leadership and wished Chief Pata well in retirement.
