The Town Council considered a Demolition Permit for 12 Garden Road, a project that the staff noted had received earlier design approval in 2024 but now requires a demolition finding because more than 25% of the exterior walls were removed during work.
Planning Director Roberta Feliciano explained there are no changes to the previously approved project—planned work includes a 703 square‑foot second‑story addition and a 1,200 square‑foot rent‑restricted accessory dwelling unit—and staff recommended adoption of Resolution No. 2621 subject to conditions. Council Member Mathew Salter recused because his residence is within 500 feet of the project site. Mayor Pro Tem Robbins moved and Council Member Dowling seconded the motion to adopt Resolution No. 2621. The motion carried 4‑0‑1 (Salter recused).
