The Traverse County Board unanimously approved the claims and bills listed in the minutes, including routine payments to schools, vendors and service providers; per Minn. Stat. §375.12, 49 claims of $2,000 or less totaled $18,325.43.
The board agreed to advertise three Planning Commission/Board of Adjustment seats for one week and to advertise the Bois de Sioux Watershed seat for the statutorily required two weeks. Commissioners approved the grant eligibility criteria and cost-share rates for the SSTS Upgrade grant (motion by Chad Metz; second by Dwight Nelson). Later in the meeting the board voted to close the meeting to discuss strategy for labor negotiations under Minnesota Statute 13D.03 (motion by Metz; second by Schmidt) and subsequently voted to reopen the meeting (motion by Schmidt; second by Nelson).
