Selectboard moves toward possible discontinuation of portions of Railroad Circle, JCDC informed

At the July 23 JCDC meeting, Joe Flynn reported on a July 16 Selectboard action related to Railroad Circle. He said the Selectboard agreed to take steps toward possible discontinuation of portions of the Railroad Circle roadway and granted a waiver to allow road modification.
Flynn told the committee the Selectboard and the Development Review Board (DRB) will hold further warned hearings on the matter and that each warned meeting requires 30 days' advance notice. Because of that notice requirement, Flynn said the Selectboard's process is likely to take a number of months before a final decision is reached.
