Board opens meeting, approves organizational and old-business agenda

Blake Shaffer, President of the Northeastern Local Board of Education, called the Feb. 19, 2026 regular meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. The Superintendent recommended approval of the Organization and Old Business agenda (Item 028‑2026); Mrs. Gray moved and Mrs. Krupp seconded the motion and the board adopted it by roll call (Ayes: Gray, Krauss, Krupp, Shaffer, Yinger). Motion carried 5‑0.
The approved organization/old-business package covered standard housekeeping: additions/deletions to the agenda, approval of the Jan. 22 regular meeting minutes, vouchers for January 2026 and the January financial report (Exhibit B5). The board identified the consent and action items to be considered later in the meeting and set the order of business.
