St. Clair board trims directors' per-meeting pay, keeps officer stipends unchanged

At the organizational meeting the board approved a reduction to directors’ per-meeting pay for 2026. By motion of Ben Stover, seconded by Connie Johns, the board decreased the director per-meeting stipend from $75 to $50; the rate for meetings over four hours was reduced from $150 to $100. The minutes record that the motion "carried with all in favor."
The board also confirmed officer stipends for the year: the clerk's salary will remain $400 in addition to the director per-meeting salary; the treasurer's salary remains $400 in addition to per-meeting pay; and the chairperson's salary remains $500 in addition to per-meeting pay. These motions likewise passed unanimously.
