During the Jan. 7, 2026 organization meeting the Ocean County Board adopted a slate of organizational and administrative resolutions typical of a reorganization session. The Board appointed Jerry W. Conaty, CPA, RMA, PSA (Holman Frenia Allison, P.C.) as County Auditor under contract QP2026-01 (amount not to exceed $320,880) and Massimo F. Yezzi, Jr. (Yezzi Associates, LLC) as County Architect under QP2026-02 (costs not to exceed $1,250,000). The Clerk read multiple appointments, including planning-board liaisons and school-estimate board members.
The Board also adopted a series of fiscal authorizations: designation of depositories, re-establishment of petty cash funds, authorization of the County Chief Financial Officer to invest available funds for 2026, and re-authorization of the County Purchasing Agent. The meeting included adoption of the 2026 Temporary Capital Budget and the 2026 Temporary County Budget; the transcript lists a temporary budget total of $155,094,315 and a master vouchers payment totaling $3,493,235.03.
