Board approves wide-ranging personnel actions, salary schedules and summer-school staffing

The consent agenda (Items E1–E16) recorded several personnel items: Lennie Linson's resignation as Gifted Coordinator contingent on being hired as a kindergarten teacher at Kenton Ridge Elementary School; Julia Sheridan's resignation as Intervention Specialist contingent on employment as a Cross Categorical Unit Teacher; and Aubree Kushmaul's resignation as Elementary Principal effective at the end of the 2025–26 contractual year. The minutes list multiple hires for 2026–27 including Megan Davis as Intervention Specialist at Kenton Ridge Middle/High School (limited one-year contract, total contract $61,690.00), Andrea Whitacre as Guidance Counselor at Kenton Ridge High School (limited one-year contract, total contract $84,824.00) and Lennie Linson as Kindergarten teacher at Kenton Ridge Elementary School (limited one-year contract, total contract $85,252.00). The board also approved summer school staffing dates (June sessions and end-of-course testing) and supplemental coaching and advisor contracts (salaries listed in the minutes for each contract).
The Superintendent recommended the approvals; the motions were moved and seconded during the consent and action agendas and approved on unanimous roll calls (5-0). The board later entered an executive session to consider personnel matters; the public minutes record the executive session time-in at 6:55 p.m. and time-out at 7:55 p.m. but do not record subsequent outcomes in the public minutes.
