Clay Christensen, the FFA advisor and agriculture teacher at Sheridan High School, introduced the John B. Kendrick FFA agriculture issues forum team during the March 3 meeting. Christensen said the six-member team Tristan Schroeder, Sam Labbe, Lucie Linden, Kaya Caster, Bryce Ludikhuize and Bret Oetken has been working on a project about foreign land ownership in the United States since October and plans to present to community groups as part of state contest preparation for April.
The board received the introduction as informational; no board action was recorded on the presentation. The students will continue outreach and contest preparation outside of the commissioners' meeting.
