Sheridan County commissioners opened their March 3 meeting by approving a multi-item consent agenda and the meeting agenda.
The consent agenda included staff draft minutes for multiple February dates; airport, treasurer and clerk-of-district-court monthly fee statements for January 2026; a letter of commitment for the Rodeo Grounds Pedestrian Transportation Infrastructure Grant; and Special UlsE Lease No. SU-00609 with the Wyoming Office of State Lands and Investments. Commissioner Lonnie J. Wright moved to approve the consent agenda and authorize the Chair to sign documents as required; the record states the motion passed unanimously. Commissioner Nick Siddle moved to approve the published meeting agenda; that motion also passed unanimously.
Chairwoman Christi Haswell also recognized Detention Sergeant Christopher Sulz for 10 years of service and Control Room Operator Jason Larsen for five years of service at the Sheridan County Detention Center. There were no public comments on items not on the agenda recorded in the minutes.
