On Sept. 9, 2025, the Lake Ridge board voted to adopt the Neighborhood Sign Maintenance Policy and Waiver, authorizing the association to enter voluntary maintenance agreements with property owners whose lots contain eligible signage. The motion, made by Vice President Janet Foote and seconded by Treasurer Aron Sanchez, passed unanimously and is recorded as Resolution 2025/9-5.
The approved action also adopted the Waiver and Release of Liability as Appendix A to the policy; the minutes state the policy and waiver were presented as shown in the meeting materials. The decision allows property owners to contract voluntarily with the association for maintenance of qualifying neighborhood signage; the minutes do not list a start date for enrollments or the criteria that determine 'eligible signage.'
The policy provides a mechanism for the association to provide maintenance services while reducing association liability through the waiver; further implementation details and sign eligibility criteria should appear in the policy appendix or subsequent staff reports.
