Lake Ridge board renews employee health and benefit plans for Dec. 1, 2025–Nov. 30, 2026

The Lake Ridge board voted unanimously on Sept. 9, 2025, to renew employee insurance benefit policies for the period Dec. 1, 2025, through Nov. 30, 2026. Vice President Janet Foote moved to renew health insurance with Kaiser Permanente and to renew dental, vision, life/AD&D, short-term disability, long-term disability, and voluntary life/AD&D with MetLife; Director John Maher seconded the motion, which passed unanimously (Resolution 2025/9-4).
The minutes record the specific carriers and the benefit period; the board did not attach premiums or budget line-item changes to the minutes beyond the COO’s prior statement that staff is on budget for the 2024–2025 fiscal year.
