Mobbs Committee catalogs multiple trail blowdowns; volunteer with chainsaw to assist

The Mobbs Committee recorded five recent blowdowns across the Mobbs Farm trail network, naming locations that include the southern entrance to Ladyslipper Lane and Old #4; two trees on River View Trail near VYCC stonework; a large blowdown on High & Dry; one across Horse Swale Trail; and one on Browns Trace Access north of the Americana juncture. Minutes say a chainsaw with at least an 18" bar will be required to clear the larger trees.
Committee member Pete Davis volunteered to use his skills and equipment to clear the debris. Members also discussed signs of inappropriate use at Browns Trace — remnants of a campfire and trash — and agreed to take appropriate action if such activity continues. The committee did not record any formal motions related to the clearing plan during the meeting.
