Rundle board to commission survey, request architect findings and update cost spreadsheet before next vote

After hearing options from Bluff Construction, the board asked for a turning-radius survey, written architect code findings and updated cost breakdowns to be added to a spreadsheet so members can pick among the three plans at a future meeting.
The moderator closed the technical Q&A by asking participants to collect the missing information needed to make an informed choice between the three design options. "We need to know for sure whether just the addition alone will trigger a whole bunch of code upgrades... That's what we need to have a definitive answer on so that at that point, we can kinda look at here's the costing," the moderator said.
The group agreed to ask Port City and the architect to inspect the building, provide written citations showing whether a 15-foot extension triggers code upgrades, and produce updated cost items for wiring, generator relocation and any renovation work in the existing station. The board also asked for a turning-radius survey to verify aprons and egress and said it will reconvene with the updated spreadsheet to select a plan.
Members said they prefer not to adopt a plan until those items are provided and that the spreadsheet will include contingencies and any required mitigation for impervious-surface or zoning impacts so the board can make a budget-conscious decision.
