Bryant then reported project timelines and operational details: the Route 46 bridge work is ongoing and “is still scheduled for spring completion date,” she said, and a re-advertisement for certain route work was issued in November with bids due in December. She added that the project team modified a detour allowance from a weekend-only detour to a five-day detour to improve contractor interest.
Bryant also reported pavement-marking tasks, shoulder work on primary routes, planned tree work now that seasonal restrictions have lifted, and the ordering and planned installation of mile-marker signs for Routes 460 and 360. Once installed, she said, the county will receive coordinates for emergency-management and sheriff’s office use.
