An architect will produce a design and the board discussed phasing kennel procurement into the shelter outfitting.
“I need to get electricity hooked to it. I need to get the air conditioner running. I need to get some chairs and tables so we can have meetings in there,” a county official said describing immediate post‑closing tasks.
The board directed staff to proceed with the settlement payment, prepare the facility for occupancy, and return with design and cost estimates for kennels and shelter outfitting.
