Fairfield to build roundabout where Great Miami River Trail will cross River Road

Mayor Steve Miller announced a planned roundabout at the intersection of Grow Lane, Chateau Way and River Road to accommodate a new crossing of the Great Miami River Trail. "And this is a roundabout that we're gonna have at Grow Lane, Chateau Way, and River Road," Mayor Steve Miller said in a city briefing.
A city staff member explained the project is intended to extend the Great Miami River Trail. "We're going to have the Great Miami River Trail is going to be crossing at that intersection," the staff member said, adding the trail will be extended from Waterworks Park down to Marsh Lake. Staff described this connection as a major factor in selecting the intersection for improvement and said planners are coordinating connections that would extend the trail farther north in Fairfield Township.
