Council denies resident's appeal seeking stop-work order on 2014 zoning compliance certificate

Chapman Montgomery addressed the council to appeal an earlier administrative decision related to a zoning compliance certificate (ZCC) issued June 1, 2014 for a property at 1659 Cold Spring Road. Montgomery requested that City Administrator Renee9 Major issue a stop work order and revoke the 2014 ZCC.
City Administrator Renee9 Major responded that no work was occurring at the site, that she had reviewed the site plans and consulted with the zoning officer regarding setback requirements, and that Louisville Metro and the Kentucky Board of Surveyors had not disputed the validity of the plans. Major stated the 2014 ZCC stands as valid. The Council voted unanimously to deny Montgomery's appeal and Mayor Neil Ramsey declared the matter closed.
