Staff reported the entrance-road design is roughly 70—580% complete and has been circulated to FAA reviewers for CSPP/EDR and pavement specifications. Staff said they are finalizing pavement sections and expect to advertise the pavement-preservation work for construction in July or August, contingent on FAA sign-off and the bidding timeline.
"We're actually putting final touches on it... I'd call it a 70% to 80% drawing," the presenter said, and added that a set of exhibits should be available for the next board meeting. Board members asked for visual exhibits and the presenter agreed to provide displays so members and stakeholders can review the planned layout and roundabout/drop-off design prior to bidding.
