At the July 28 meeting the City Council approved several vendor invoices and a grant reimbursement. Notable approvals included $11,400 to Pellman Specialty Training for EMT instruction for newly hired firefighters; $1,782.34 to FW Electric to repair a traffic signal at Emma and Main; $10,276.48 to Duke's Root Control for sewer work; $2,402 to Allmax Software for a sewer-department annual subscription; and $10,116.25 to Fowler Heating & Cooling for condenser-coil replacement at police and dispatch facilities.
Council also approved a $36,278.61 reimbursement to Greater Egypt for stormwater work, which the Chair said uses Delta Regional Authority funds "so it's not... we don't have to pay this out of our pocket." These items were carried on the consent or regular agenda and passed by roll call.
