Attorney: Chicago Heights litigation pending; board to consider closed-session update

The attorney also asked the clerk to distribute the full text of a proposed amendment to public-comment procedures (conduct and time limits) before the next meeting; the board agreed to postpone action until members have had a chance to review the amendment.
No vote or closed-session motion occurred during the public meeting; the attorney said he would present updates at a later meeting as permitted by law.
