City approves Amendment #5 to IXP public-safety communications agreement for 2026–27

Mr. Gentile submitted the Amendment #5 requisition, which would extend the service through July 24, 2027 at a total cost of $3,056,844.00.
Mr. Gentile moved to approve execution of Amendment #5; D. Garrick seconded and the motion carried unanimously. The minutes record that the amendment provides for automatic one-year renewals unless either the City or IXP gives six months' written notice of intent not to renew, with renewal-year terms subject to negotiation.
