The committee kept the record open for written submissions through Tuesday, Feb. 10, and scheduled the formal performance oversight hearing on DCHA for Feb. 25.
White told agency leaders that the council's primary goal is to get to a point of verified controls: "Our goal is to make sure that in all this sensational coverage of interpersonal drama, the council and the public get a clear update on what's up with the agency's financial management and a guarantee that any remaining shortcomings are on track to get fixed quickly and thoroughly." He asked that the agency deliver required materials to the committee in advance of the Feb. 25 oversight hearing.
