One councilor raised a point of order about the procedure for moving and voting on amendments; the mover withdrew and refiled the amendment in the proper sequence before the roll call. The clerk conducted the roll call and the chair announced the ordinance adopted.
The bond authorization provides borrowing authority for the CIP appropriation adopted the same evening and establishes the town's financing mechanism for the Bunnell track and other listed public improvements.
