Commissioners appoint Rich DeMarche chair and Pam Springer vice chair

Commissioner Springer moved to appoint DeMarche as chair and Commissioner Petreborg seconded; the clerk recorded ayes on the roll call. After the chair selection, Commissioner Springer was nominated and a motion to appoint her as vice chair was moved and seconded, with the clerk again recording ayes.
The meeting record notes two excused absences (Commissioners Carrier and Webb). The commission will formally record the new leadership in the minutes and both officers will assume their duties at the next regular meeting.
