The Magna City Council recorded unanimous votes on multiple agenda items at its Feb. 10 meeting. Council Member Mike Jensen moved and the Council approved appointments and resolutions including: appointment of Council Member Megan Olsen to the Magna Communities that Care Board (R2026-09), authorization for the Mayor or designee to sign Broadway property purchase documents (R2026-10), approval of a legal services agreement with Smith Hartvigsen (R2026-11), adoption of a personnel policy (R2026-12), and adoption of the amended multi-jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan (R2026-13).
Meeting minutes show each listed motion passed "5-0, unanimous in favor." Council also directed staff to place Planning Commission and Traffic & Safety Committee appointments on the Feb. 24 agenda and moved into a closed session to discuss authorized personnel, real property, and potential litigation items.
