The Carroll County Delegation Executive Committee approved transferring $98,263.84 from the accrued benefits liability (non‑capital reserve sick bank) to the general fund to reimburse payroll lines for amounts paid out to county employees in 2025 upon termination. The item reimburses payroll lines for earned vacation, sick time and other accruals to which employees were entitled.
Representative Chris McAleer moved to approve the transfer; Representative Bobbi Boudman seconded. The recorded vote showed Boudman and McAleer voting yes and Chair Lino Avellani voting yes; Clerk John MacDonald was absent for the motion. The motion result was recorded as passed 3-0.
