Trustees agreed on Nov. 21, 2025 to return management of the Gift Cart Fund from the County Finance Office to the MVC, contingent on monthly reporting so annual filings to the New Hampshire Department of Revenue Administration (NH DRA) and the NH Charitable Trust Unit can continue.
Administrator Rich Leboeuf told trustees he is confident the MVC Office Manager can handle daily administration and reconciliation; he requested the tracking spreadsheet used by Finance and other pertinent information be shared with the MVC Office Manager before the staff accountant's last day on Dec. 5. Commissioner Chuck McGee moved to transfer responsibility for the Gift Cart Fund to MVC; Treasurer Matthew Sawyer, Jr. seconded. The motion passed 2-0.
Executive Director Mellisa Seamans noted there has been discussion about forming a new nonprofit, similar to the now-defunct 'Friends of Mountain View,' that could assume responsibility for charitable funds in the future. The minutes do not record any firm plan or timeline for forming such an organization.
