Borough Manager Cindy Wells reminded council that a public hearing on an amendment to the Zoning Ordinance is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 16, 2024 at 6:30 P.M. and that the hearing will be advertised twice as required. Wells also said council will vote on an amendment to the Parking Ordinance and that the required advertising will be completed.
Separately, the manager reported that council opted not to advertise for bids on a Towing Ordinance. The minutes record these as manager announcements and do not show any formal votes tied specifically to towing at this meeting; the public hearing for zoning was given an explicit date and advertising plan.
