Board approves consent agenda including $15.7 million January payroll and personnel actions

The board approved the consent agenda (moved by Felipe Martinez, seconded by Tom Velasquez) including Payroll Orders for January 2026 totaling $15,693,255.36, purchase order and payments reports, revised field trip requests, gift donations, claim rejection, budget revisions, and Personnel Report No. 12-26 including retiree recognitions.
On a motion by Felipe Martinez, seconded by Tom Velasquez, the board approved the consent agenda. The items ratified included Payroll Orders for January 2026 in the amount of $15,693,255.36; the Purchase Order Report for Jan. 19–Feb. 6, 2026; the Total Payments Report for January 2026; revised out-of-county field trip requests; and Gift Donations to the School District.
The board also approved the Rejection of a Claim Against the School District, ratified Budget Revisions, and approved Personnel Report No. 12-26. Certificates of recognition will be forwarded to retirees Jovita Dabney, SheRee Ferguson, Ker Lathrop, Kevin Lombardi, Jonathan Price, and Marc Salazar. Motion carried with all six members present voting aye.
