President Lillian Durbin reported the board took action on a student expulsion matter following closed-session deliberations. The board moved, on a motion by Donna Berry and second by Rudy Ruiz, to approve a stipulated expulsion agreement for one Citrus High School student.
The stipulated agreement removes the need for a formal expulsion hearing and imposes an expulsion for the fall and spring semesters of the 2025–2026 school year. The record states the student’s return to Citrus High School is governed by a Suspended Expulsion Contract. The motion carried with all six members present voting aye.
