The Governing Board of Trustees of Porterville Unified School District approved its consent agenda during the Jan. 22 regular meeting, accepting the minutes of Jan. 8, 2026; ratifying purchase orders dated Jan. 5–16, 2026; approving revised out-of-county field trips, authorizing a district surplus sale and accepting gift donations to the district.
Clerk Pete Lara moved approval of the consent items and Mr. Rudy Ruiz seconded. The motion "carried; all seven members present voting aye," according to the meeting minutes. The consent package also included approval of the 2024–2025 School Accountability Report Cards and Personnel Report No. 11-26, with certificates of recognition to retirees Robin Dinkins, Tammy Evans, Michael Fusco, Holly Jones and Jane Kisling.
