The Story County Board of Supervisors approved a broad consent agenda on Jan. 2 that included appointments to county boards and commissions and designation of the permanent clerk for 2026. Appointments approved included Evonne Fitzgerald to the Aging Resources of Central Iowa Board for a term ending Dec. 31, 2027; Elara Jondle to the Board of Adjustment through Dec. 31, 2030; Filip Viskupic to the Board of Health through Dec. 31, 2028; Jane Morris to the Civil Service Commission through Dec. 31, 2031; and Michelle Bellile as Permanent Clerk to the Board of Supervisors for calendar year 2026.
The consent agenda also named members to regional and local boards and assigned Supervisors as representatives and alternates to a range of committees, including the Ames Area MPO Transportation Policy Committee, CIRTPA committees, StoryComm, Story County Conservation Board (ex officio) and others. The motions to approve the consent agenda were made and seconded and carried unanimously on roll call.
