She said fire engines "already barely make it down the narrow street" because of telephone poles and parked vehicles and asked the committee to "remove the proposed LR 3 upzoning for those properties."
Her request was framed as a safety and service‑delivery concern rather than a blanket opposition to housing. The committee heard many public commenters urging stronger anti‑displacement sequencing and tools, but no immediate plan change or vote occurred on the 46th Avenue parcels during this meeting.
