The Dorset Selectboard voted to approve Pay Request No. 9 for the Town Office construction project after a progress update from Town Manager Rob Gaiotti. Gaiotti said interior work is progressing, additional trees have been cleared, and the project is tracking approximately 2–3% over budget with an anticipated completion in August 2025. The motion to approve Pay Request No. 9 passed 4-0 (mover: Jim Salsgiver; seconder: Frank Parent).
Board members discussed potential contingency planning: Naylor & Breen expressed hope the schedule will be recovered in spring work, and the Town will review options for using remaining ARPA funds should cost overages occur. The Town is also working on solar array design and vendor selection for the new office but no contract award or final cost for the solar portion was approved at this meeting.
