Board approves consent docket including contracts, trip requests and property listing

At its Sept. 15 meeting the Shawnee Board approved the consent docket by a 5–0 vote with two trustees absent. The consent items included minutes from Aug. 4, 2025; treasurer’s reports; encumbrance registers across funds; the creation of Middle School Academic Team account #882; and trip approval for the High School swim team to travel to Conway, Arkansas, Nov. 20–21, 2025.
The consent docket also authorized a set of agreements and partnerships listed in the minutes: Public Consulting Group, TheraPeds, an addendum with the American Red Cross, GO for Public Schools, SylogistEd, FCC Cybersecurity Pilot Program products/services, a listing contract with Steve Reese of NextHome Central Real Estate to market a 15‑acre tract on West 45th Street, a Special Services Agreement with Kickapoo Head Start, PCG EDPlan services, YOU Matter Behavior Support Services, and an agreement with SSM Health Medical Group Sports Medicine and Athletic Training Services. The board approved the entire consent docket by motion of Mandy Hillhouse, seconded by Turner Bass.
