The board approved the plan by voice vote and agreed to post the adoption and manage required notices.
Members also discussed local generator capacity for emergency sheltering and whether the town should budget for a backup generator at critical facilities such as the library or school; several members noted existing building-fund balances that could be reallocated for a generator if the board so chooses. The board asked staff to incorporate a contact list and local vendor information in the final plan before submission.
