Council approves consent agenda including tax refunds, stormwater grant insertion and road payment

The list included the June 23 meeting minutes, the tax collector's report, Resolution 2026-71 authorizing cancellation and refund of portions of quarterly taxes for a totally disabled veteran, Resolution 2026-72 extending the grace period for third-quarter 2026 taxes, Resolution 2026-73 (salaries), Resolution 2026-74 authorizing Partial Payment No.1 to Landberg Construction, LLC for 2024 roadway improvements on Bertha Avenue and Guernsey Place, Resolution 2026-75 inserting the 2026 Clean Communities Program revenue into the budget, and Resolution 2026-76 inserting a Stormwater Assistant Grant as a special item of revenue. The consent agenda passed on a motion by Jesse Stemberger, seconded by Bertha Hyman; James Hackett abstained from item 1 (the meeting minutes).
Council also approved payment of bills (motion by Heather Bobbitt, seconded by Bertha Hyman). The partial payment to Landberg Construction was included in the consent agenda and reflects progress on the 2024 roadway improvements on Bertha Avenue and Guernsey Place; minutes noted paving was completed with some remaining concrete and cleanup.
